Hey, there. I’m Mandy.

I began my journey with yoga in 2009 as I was finishing up college & my time in military service, and completed my first yoga teacher training in 2013. Somewhere, embedded in this early timeline, I also began to understand the concept of ‘mindfulness’ (aka the act of paying attention and being present). What a lovely discovery.

I’ve now spent over a decade teaching and studying yoga, as well as deepening my knowledge of anatomy, meditation, mysticism, and various spiritual and mindfulness practices.

I’ve learned that this is a never ending journey, with the ability to enrich our lives, help us cope with difficulties, and provide a waypoint for living. I enjoy sharing ways to deepen mindful attention and awareness, and I look forward to walking with you along this path.

My experience…

My time in the military & in a war zone taught me the importance of details, precision, patience in the unknown, and deep, vibrant resilience.

My 10-year career in event planning & production (and being a business owner for 8 of those years) reinforced my practices in organization, stress management, the ability to pivot & adapt, and strengthened my belief in a strong, soul-centered level of balance.

My time as a yoga teacher & space holder has cultivated within me a resourced & growing well of compassionate leadership, trauma-informed presence, and gentle guidance.

I continue to deepen my studies of somatics, emotional resilience, trauma-informed care, yoga asana, mindfulness, meditation, social equity, and various learning and teaching tools through a variety of classes, programs, intensive trainings, and workshops, as well as a steady personal practice of mindfulness and spiritual exploration.
